Jointflows can send back important data points to Salesforce for visibility in the whole organisation.
Below is a guide showing how to set this up in your instance.
It's not mandatory to create all the fields, you can pick those relevant to your implementation.
Go to Setup/Object Manager
Select Opportunity
Click on Fields & Relationships on the left menu
Click on the New button (top right)
1. Project Status
Select Text
Scroll down and click on Next
- Label → JF Forecast Status (or whatever you want it to display as)
- Length → 25
- Field Name → jf_forecast_status
Click Next
Leave default options for last two screens and save. Note that your integration user needs to have rights to the fields…
2. Percentage Completion
Repeat with a Percent field
- Label → JF Percentage Completion (or whatever you want it to display as)
- Length → 18
- Field Name → jf_percentage_complete
3. Project Link
Repeat with a URL field
- Label → JF Project Link (or whatever you want it to display as)
- Field Name → jf_project_link
4. Predicted Completion Date
Repeat with a Date field
- Label → JF Predicted Completion date (or whatever you want it to display as)
- Field Name → jf_predicted_completion_date
Review your configuration
Type JF in the search, you should have a list as follows:
In Jointflows, to push an update to Salesforce click the Salesforce Icon on the Project's header menu.
